2 Mil Economy Glass
The Tru Vue 2 mil glass is a thinner version of the same high quality glass that you
are used to. The glass is pre-washed, polished, and paper packed, just like the
Premium Clear glass which is 2.5 millimeters thick. It is priced lower and is perfect
for the jobs where cutting cost is the biggest concern. It is not recommended that
you use this glass in larger frames since the thinner glass will not be as strong as
the Premium Clear.
Premium Clear & TruGuard Clear
Continuous quality assurance examinations make Premium Clear the highest
quality clear glass available. This consistently defect-free glass is available in a
range of sizes from 8x10 to 40x60. Premium Clear is ideal for framing glossy prints,
posters, photos, and lithographs. It also works well with multiple-mat presentations
hung in a controlled lighting environment. The Conservation Clear glass combines
the same high quality of the Tru Vue Premium Clear with a protective ultraviolet
filtering coating. This coating blocks over 97% of the most damaging UV light rays.
Reflection Control & TruGuard Reflection Control
The unique single-sided etch process by which Reflection Control is manufactured
allows this product to reduce most of the glare of regular glass while providing
greater clarity than double-sided etched non-glare glass. It can be used up to four
mats away from the artwork with little loss in resolution. Reflection Control allows
one to see the beauty of the artwork it protects without unwanted glare or
distortion and is perfect for use with needle art, matte finish photographs and
posters. Tru Vue Conservation Reflection Control has the added benefit of filtering
over 97% of the most harmful ultraviolet light rays.
AR Reflection-Free & Museum
Anti-reflective glass is defined as having significantly reduced reflection (glare)
and significantly increased transmission (clarity). Using an advanced technology
exclusive to Tru Vue ensures the most consistent, durable quality and the highest
brightness and contrast levels available. Due to its increased clarity and true color
transmission, AR Reflection Free is the ideal glazing material for shadowboxes and
multiple mat presentations. The Museum glass offers these qualities and adds the
benefit of 99% UV filtering technology.
